Dear Patients and Friends;

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

We are happy to inform you that during Governor Baker’s Phase I reopening, we will be able to expand our duties and begin to address dental issues at risk of becoming emergent. We plan to begin slowly with a reduced number of patients initially. We are excited to see you again and look forward to working with you to maintain the utmost health of your dentition.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

Prior to your next visit we will call you with a few screening questions. We will ask that if at all possible, you come alone to your appointment and call us from your car before entering the building.  As required by the Governor, please remember to wear your face covering.  When you enter, we will ask you to clean your hands with a sanitizer and we will take your temperature. You will notice a sneeze guard shield at the front desk. This will permit safe communication between you and our front desk staff. You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, coffee, water, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

Within the treatment rooms you may notice we are wearing face shields, gowns and possibly goggles. However, much of the personal protective protocol is unchanged as infection control has always been essential in our office. We are introducing a surgical clean air system. This offers a six-stage filtration and sterilization process, removing 99% of airborne particles, including virus’. We will also be utilizing a medical grade Environze fogger.  It will aid in surface disinfection and air cleaning.

All of these changes will permit us to provide the highest level of care to you while also following and exceeding the strict guidelines set by the state, CDC, OSHA and the American Dental Association. We ask that you are patient with us as we move forward. I realize many of you have had appointments rescheduled multiple times. We will do our very best to accommodate your desired scheduling time, and we do appreciate your flexibility. Priority initially will go to patients in need of emergency care.

Thank you for being our patient. We truly value the confidence you have demonstrated allowing us to provide care for you and your family, giving us the opportunity to continue to do what we love. We will get through this together, as a team.
